Toddler Care at South Wake Preschool & Academy

Age Range: 1 to 3 years

Toddlers are able to experience the world in exciting new ways as they begin walking, talking, exploring on their own, and playing together. Our toddler program ensures that each day is filled with interesting things to see and do. The combination of an enriched learning environment and personalized care helps toddlers learn and grow with confidence, builds self- esteem to support successful learning in the years to come. We maintain clean, safe, and cheerfully decorated rooms supplied with plenty of skill developing toys. Through fun activities and gentle guidance, our teachers create a nurturing environment that stimulates learning in a calm and reassuring way. Teachers know when to stand back and let each child explore, when to lend a hand, and how to use short, informal activities to encourage social development and friendships. Our teachers and staff will help your toddler learn at their own pace, honing their skills in coping with emotions, learning to share, mastering shapes, colors, & counting, and many more skills. Our Toddler Program Includes:

• Regularly scheduled meals including breakfast, lunch, and snacktimes
• Scheduled naptime every day
• Outside playtime on the Playground (weather permitting)
• Plenty of toys outside and inside to help with developmental skills, such as sharing, counting, colors, and much more
• Daily report sent home to parents, which outlines what they ate, how much they ate, how many times they went to the bathroom, and whether there are any notes of concern.
