Before & After School Care at South Wake Preschool & Academy

Age Range: 5 to 6 years

Our school age program is fun, interesting, and meshes seamlessly with students’ school curricula and homework assignments. Teachers provide encouragement and assistance as children work alone or in groups on theme-based projects specifically designed for school-age needs, interest, and developmental abilities. Children also have ample time to socialize, do their homework, and play. Our program provides children a safe alternative after-school environment where free play, exploration and learning all happen together.

We provide a space for them before and after school where they have the freedom to discover new things that bring them joy, but also enacting the structure that they need to build the life skills they need for their future. Our teachers and staff members help your students reach for the stars and comets. Our Before & After-School Program Includes:

• Outside playtime on the Playground (weather permitting)
• Wide variety of toys inside and out to suit any kids’ interest
• Transportation provided in our South Wake Preschool & Academy van to and from school
• Daily report sent home to parents, which outlines what they ate, how much they ate, how many times they went to the bathroom, and whether there are any notes of concern.
